Hello and welcome! I’m Sophia Kozo, a wedding photographer based in Seattle, WA. I believe that every couple deserves to have their love story beautifully documented in a way that is both unique and artistic. With this in mind, I specialize in creating classic, beautiful, and unique images that reflect each couple’s unique personality, style, and vision.

Do you deliver every image you photography?
No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. With my expertise of processing millions of images each year, I may eliminate ones that I feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.
Do you do destination weddings? What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?
While I am based out of Seattle, WA I serve clients all around the world. I am a destination wedding specialist with tons of frequent flier miles and an ability to fall asleep sitting up on a plane. I am very comfortable traveling for events. My destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations. Travel is billed very simply – if airfare, hotel, rental car are needed, all you are responsible for is a direct reimbursement for the charges.
In terms of local weddings, I have car, and I love to drive!
What is your photography style?
I am acclaimed to develop a unique style of wedding photography that is a mix of vibrant yet subtle colors, clean light, and beautiful skin tones. I love using creative lighting, unique perspectives, angles, compositions and artistic post-production refining to bring out my clients personalities and beauty while telling their wedding story.
Do you touch up all the images in our image download?
Yes I do. Every image I deliver is post produced with my unique signature style of post-production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections. Many photographers will not post produce any images, or will only post produce “select” images from your wedding. This means that you may have pictures that are too dark, have strange skin tones or other common photography flaws.
How many hours do you suggest we set aside for wedding day photos?
I typically recommend to all my couples to set aside a 90 minute window strictly devoted to the bridal session (this includes the first look, bridal party portraits, bride + groom portraits, etc) in order to capture all the photos desired.
I have downtime between events on my wedding day. Will I be charged for that downtime?
For a variety of reasons, I have to charge for the time in between events. The fact is, I’m never truly resting during the day, whether I’m backing up images, setting up for the second venue, traveling to the second location, taking venue shots, or making up for lost photo time because of unforeseen wedding day delays. In many cases, we use that “downtime” to take you and your significant other out for a photo session or more family portraits.
How many photographs do you deliver from the wedding day?
I promise 100 photos for every one hour I photograph your wedding. For example if I photograph your wedding for 8 hours, you can be sure that I will deliver 800 beautifully retouched images from your wedding day!
Are our digital files watermarked?
They are not. The high resolution files do not bear any watermarks.
What is the "online gallery" you mention in your collections?
The online gallery is a private gallery of your wedding photographs. Your family and friends can also gain access to the site, where they can access and download their desired images from your wedding day. This is the way I digitally deliver your photos.
We want everything documented. Can we have more images?
Please understand that the galleries all vary based on many different things. Length of the day, amount of coverage, number of events covered in a day, etc. Every wedding is different and all are covered to the best of my ability. If you are concerned about coverage, you can always add on a second, or even a third photographer to document along side myself!
